Our goal is to get kids jazzed about wholesome foods and balanced eating by teaching them to cook on their own for themselves and their families. We focus on simple, delicious, nutritional, and cultural recipes that allow plenty of room for our aspiring chefs to add their own creative twist. Knife skills and kitchen safety are key topics. At the end of each class, every child will enjoy the recipe that they made for lunch!

IMPORTANT NOTE: WE REQUIRE AN ALTERNATE class choice when families request Cooking this Fall. On 8/31 we learned from the Vendor there is at least a 50 percent chance they can't fulfill on their contract. We are doing everything possible to find new instructors. If Cooking is cancelled, we need a class to shift your student into.

Sample Timeline:
1:30 Students arrive
1:30-1:40 Menu and recipe rundown, explanation of stations and steps
1:40-2:30 Hands-on cooking!
2:30-2:40 Station clean-up
2:40-2:50 Eat! Class recap and recipe review and Q+As.
